This is the first release by the Capitulators. Noam and I used to be in a band called Mobius Band together. We stopped in 09. Since then I've had 2 kids and been working in web development for progressive nonprofits. I stopped writing and playing for a while. I was a bass player. I started playing guitar because it's more fun when you're alone. I got seriously obsessed with guitar. Songs started coming out. I swore I'd never bother to play them for anyone, that they were just for me. Thinking that would hold true probably enabled me to write about some stuff I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. But my friends -- the guys in this band and others -- thought this stuff should see the light of day. I got out of amp simulators and headphones and got a little '65 silvertone 1471. It sounded a lot better than software and headphones. Duh. I got louder amps. Duh. We got together to play. We did it again the next Wednesday, and then the next. Then we made this. It's not called "Duh" but that would have been a good name.

If you spend money on this we might be able to do a proper full length. That would be cool. It'll be a little bit spacier and slower than this, these are the rockin numbers.
